SALVATION VERSES

There is no one righteous, not even one.                                                                     Romans 3:10

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.                                                   Romans 3:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life                                   Romans 6:23
in Christ Jesus our Lord.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,                                   John 3:16
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might                              1 Peter 2:24
die to sins, and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have
been healed.

For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the                                               1 Peter 3:18
unrighteous, to bring you to God.

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless,                                       Romans 5:6-8
Christ died for the ungodly. For rarely will anyone die for a
righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly
dare to die, But God demonstrated his own love for us in this:
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,                         Heb. 9:27-28
so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people.

Now brothers, I want to remind you of the Gospel I preached to                                  1 Cor. 15:1,3

... that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures,
that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day, according
to the Scriptures.

The time has come, he said. The kingdom of God is near. Repent                              Mark 1:15
and believe the good news.

Yet all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he                                  John 1:12
gave the right to become children of God.

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and                                  Acts 16:31
your household.

For is is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this not                              Eph. 2:8-9
from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one
can boast.

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have                                   Romans 5:1
peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Christ died for the ungodly. For rarely will anyone die for a

dare to die, But God demonstrated his own love for us in this:

you ... that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures,

to the Scriptures.

JUDGING OTHERS

1. We are not to judge other Christians

.

Do not touch my anointed ones, and do my prophets no harm.   1 Chronicles 16:22

Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and  with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.   Matthew 7:1

Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters. Romans 14:1

Who are you to judge someone else’s servant. To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand for the Lord is able to make him stand.   Romans 14:4

You then, why do you judge your brother? Or why do you look down on your brother? For we shall all stand before God’s judgment seat. Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another.” Romans 14:10,13

Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him, speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it. There is only one lawgiver and judge, the One who is able to save and destroy. But you, who are you to judge your neighbor? James 4:11-12

Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration, or a Sabbath day. Col. 2:16

2. We can judge things and teachings

.

The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man’s judgment. 1 Cor. 2:15

Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully (judge) what is said. 1 Cor. 14:29

3. The local church is to judge the sin of its members.

“What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? 1 Cor. 5:1

Do you not know that the saints are to judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? 1 Cor. 6:2
